Clare was born and raised in the Cornish seaside village of Looe and has been writing songs since the age of 12. She started performing at 16 and has since become a regular fixture on the local music scene, playing in pubs, restaurants, coffee shops and at local events.
More recently Clare has moved to Manchester to pursue her music career, this has led to a wide range of gigs in and around the city including performances at Parklife and Not Part Of festivals.
Clare's music is engaging and easy to identify with; while her work reflects a wide range of musical interests, she cites artists such as Regina Spektor and Laura Marling as particular influences.
Clare's music has received airplay on BBC Radio and Fylde FM in addition to being featured on several websites.
